Taste Chocolate owner Marcy Richards knows a thing or two about chocolate. Combine that with her 11 years as a successful business owner, and you’ve got the makings of something delicious.
Richards began to see a shift in the way consumers in this country viewed chocolate, with the increase of high-quality, high percentage cocao bars both imported and created here in the United States. It was that awareness of a rising trend, along with her passion for chocolate, that prompted Taste Chocolate. She spent the next year immersed in the chocolate industry, researching the origins and manufacturing of chocolates, speaking with chocolate shop owners, chocolatiers, manufacturers, and of course, sampling along the way! After all, who doesn’t like chocolate?
